Take Good Care

I swear I saw a Red Brick Wall
Just before the Green Ceiling
Slapped back into its place.

I’d only thought about it
For a brief moment.

But such power!

I underestimate my mind
And how it touches me.

One small thought
And I’m caught.

I should take more care
(on/as/of/for/in/over)
What I think about
On dreaming days.

My dreaming ways.

  2. Hi Robert, can’t believe I found some comments of yours on my singing from six months ago that I hadn’t seen before! A belated thank you to you my old friend. I hope you’re well and life is treating you good. I enjoyed your poem here. Hope you’re still writing and smiling. Cheers from Maid Miri from down under. 🙂
