A screaming howl into the mad depths of a psychokiller.
I wrote a novel a couple of years back called Behind Bootham. It featured a love triangle and was a mushy kind of book – a love story because I thought that it would be the easiest kind to write. And it was.
The tale was told from the points of view (POV) of two of the people in the love triangle. Now I want to write a sequel from the POV of the third party. There were intimations that he might have been mentally imbalanced. That he might have been a killer.
It’s time to find out the truth.

Well that’s the scary thing I guess – it’ll be an opportunity for me to air some of my darker thoughts and feelings – to really plumb the depths.

I nearly wrote a romantic noir with kidnapping and torture elements for nano. But decided it needed to percolate more. Went for alternative dimensions in a different, but connected to ours, universe.

Ooo no – on reading that, I’ve just decided not to torture or kill anyone in this novel (although there may be incidental death of old people) – it’ll all be in his head. 🙂

Umm.. that’s sounds better, but I guess its ok to read the dark stuff too, after all life is negative and positive together… you can not appreciate the good if there was no bad…right? so do as you please…

According to my phone it’s 6 degrees C today but under five layers of cloth it feels very similar to 30 degrees C. Did you get through the tree? I’m in the office today – developing software. It’s writing, Jim, but not as we know it. 😉

Puzzling. When you click on one of the Goodreads links and then click on my name, does it not take you to my Goodreads profile? It all seemed to get tangled when I set up an Author Profile and I don’t really know enough about it to find where I am.
I’m on FB but I only use that for family so no – nothing doing there.

I am reading a book in German right now, were the main character is the killer…So, you read the story told by and thus through the eyes of the killer. Is it going to be something similar? Anyway, I am intrigued too 🙂

This will not cover the same time period as the first novel – it will be more like an ‘Origins’ story – like Wolverine.
Not sure I want to be explicit about the killing. Concentrating more on the psychopathy.
