Sometimes Love

Sometimes love comes in a strange guise
Sometimes love doesn’t live in the eyes
Sometimes love isn’t there at the start
Sometimes love has to journey from the heart.

  1. Love is ferocious like the roar of a lion,
Love is resplendent like the glow of the sun,
And as soothing as the familiarity of home.
    Love is everywhere,
    Love is all around.

    I tried too 🙂
    Great poem!

      • Hey there. Crossing the pond later this year or early next. Sorry I’ve been missing your posts. I do a lot of things on my cell phone and they changed the app. It makes it hard to find people. I need to start using my laptop. Hope you are well.

      • You’re coming all the way over here to see me? Yes! Let me know your plans and we can meet up and have a nice cup of teas or something. Sorry about your hardware problems – I’m sure you’ll get them fixed. It’s all good. Yes, I’m very well thanks. Still battling the chocolate addiction, but hey – it’s summer – the sun is shining – life is good. 🙂
How’s life in the US, Tosha? Do you follow the Olympics? US pushing UK into second place in the medals table! 😉

      • I think that Great Britain are going to put on a superb showing in the second half of the games and overtake the US in the medals table – what do you think about that, my fine, furry friend? 😀
Yay for coffee and chocolate! We can introduce each other to our favourites. 😉

  2. Love is turbulent like a raging storm on the ocean,
Or gentle like the beating of a butterfly’s wings.
Love is ferocious like the roar of a lion,
Love is resplendent like the glow of the sun,
And as soothing as the familiarity of home.

    I tried too 🙂
    Lovely post!

  3. Wow Rob!!
It’s amazing how poets have written on and about live for centuries together and it’s still the most beautiful emotion to write about!
And you’ve added to the treasure with a beautiful 4 liner yourself!! It’s beautiful ^_^
