Just back from taking a pee and noticed that the porcelain-ware is on this train is called Althea.
I wonder if there’s a toilet designer somewhere who’s had his heart crushed by a woman of the same name?
Makes me think about all the stories raging under the calm surface of the world.
Makes me wonder about your story. Care to share?
this is a funny one!!

My raging story? I got the brush off from a friend I invited to guest post on my blog. He has been wishing for more people to view his blog, which is why I offered. Now, in the post above yours in my Reader, I see him in a seven day challenge from a fellow blogger. I laughed because he’s working hard to promote someone else every day. Which is not what he wants. No argument here just calm observation. Have a great day at work. π

Well of course I thought of the poem, To Althea from Prison, which I read at a very young age and it still manage to stick with me through the years. A train sounds really cool, was the name of the train Liberty?

Erm – not sure what the train was called – apart from the 6.39 to Edinburgh! π But yes – having now read the poem you refer to (and which I now love) – Liberty would have been a very appropriate name for the train. π

Excellent, I’m glad you like the poem :-). Happy travels.

Sorry for the delay – I’ve been on a remote island with little internet – but even if I had connection, the scenery was too beautiful to bother! π
So, yes – the journey was very happy – thanks. π

What a great way to get eternal payback after a crushed heart all those backsides compressed against her name LOL. I love passing thoughts like this one. I half inched a bus once from Launceston bus station LOL.

Hahaha – that’s just what I thought!! π
But wait! What? You nicked a bus?! Why? (eyebrows up forehead smiley if I knew what that was)

I’ve heard girls tell of worst things they had to do to get into gigs.

Yes, if that karma is good. Hope you are soaking up some of the wonderful sun where you are. Going to grab the last few rays before they disappear….

Yes – it’s been an incredible summer so far – just so sad to know that it’ll be over soon – we’ve nearly had our customary week of sun already and it’s only May! π

I can’t count on summers anymore. Yes, we get the odd warm day here in London, but nothing spectacular to write home about, when every day I look up in the sky to see toxic chemtrails being emitted from high-flying aircrafts covering what little sun is there….sad, sad, sad π¦

We have a guest at home right now (hi Betty!). As I drove my wife and Betty into town this morning, Betty was remarking on the quality of light in England. She has travelled all over the world (much like you, Bernadette) and she says that there is nowhere that has skies and light like England.
Whether or not this is true, it’s interesting that every person seems to have their own take on things.
p.s. I’ve just been on Betty’s blog (https://thenomadicintern.com/) and I got a mention in her latest post – wheee! π
