Hang the blessed DJ
Because the music that they constantly play

(‘Panic’ – Johnny Marr & Steven Patrick Morrissey)
What you should do to make your book immortal:
- Get the obvious things right: spelling, syntax, grammar, character, plot, message etc.
- Make it speak to successive generations about their life.
There’s a whole set of other, more peripheral stuff, but if you get these two things right, then you have a Classic in the making on your hands.
