Don’t wait until Deadline Day

Have you ever had in mind that you needed to do something but have then forgotten all about it?

Maybe this scenario is as familiar to you as it is to me: you wanted to do a piece of writing by such and such a day, but got kind of distracted by other things so that when Deadline Day arrived you find that you still haven’t got around to doing it. And by that time it is already too late because you have a million and one things to do instead!

Don’t wait until Deadline Day – write something every single day so that when that important date comes around, you are already ahead of the curve.

Was anybody here ever in or close to the Scouts? What was that motto again?
